Kasey Forehand is a painter based in Lynchburg, VA, whose work blends whimsy with emotional depth. She studied fine art at Hollins University and The Art of Education University, earning a Master of Liberal Studies in Fine Art and a Master of Art Education. Inspired by nature, folklore, and everyday narratives, her work captures the beauty of the ordinary through vibrant colors and expressive brushwork.
Working primarily in oil, acrylic, and mixed media, Kasey creates thoughtfully composed paintings that invite viewers to pause and engage. Her work has been featured in private collections and local exhibitions, showcasing her ability to transform familiar subjects into captivating visual stories.
Kasey shares a collaborative studio at Riverviews Artspace, where she helps curate exhibitions, develop programs, and teach classes. She is an active member of the Lynchburg Art Club and serves as a docent at the Randolph College Maier Museum of Art, continually expanding her knowledge of art and history. As an adjunct professor at Randolph College and Central Virginia Community College, she shares her passion for art education with students. Through her work, Kasey seeks to inspire connection, storytelling, and a sense of wonder in the world around her.
